TY JFK Forensic Science Workshop

Yesterday, our Transition Year students took part in the JFK Forensic Science Workshop, a thrilling and hands-on experience that brought the world of crime scene investigation right into the classroom.
Led by expert facilitator Pat from Forensic Fun , students explored key forensic techniques including fingerprint analysis, fibre and hair examination, blood spatter interpretation, and crime scene reconstruction. The workshop was designed to challenge students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills while giving them a real taste of STEM in action.
It was a fantastic opportunity for students to work as a team, apply scientific methods, and learn how forensic science plays a vital role in solving crimes.
