Thank you to all the students who took part in carol singing at Colbert Station in aid of Focus Ireland-they sounded wonderful!  Thanks to Miss Curtin for organising this event. Our singers and musicians won’t have much of a rest as they will be back singing in the Crescent Shopping Centre on Monday. 

Well done to the winners of the HERO poster competition Jeffrey, Seweryn and Sebastian.  Their creative designs will be displayed around the school to reinforce to students how important their attendance at school is.   

We were delighted to welcome Kevin Stuart, from the Bicycle Engineering Academy to speak with interested Senior Cycle students this week. He provided a very informative presentation. It is another progression pathway after LC, to gain a Level 5 qualification, or to progress into Mechanical Engineering at TUS.

Well done to third year student Anthony Casey who has been chosen by the Art Department as the Artist of the Month for December. 

Our TY Spanish class joined the First year Spanish group to lead them in a game of Serpientes y Escaleras to help the junior students improve their oral skills and prepare for their Examen de Navidad.    The TYs worked over the last 2 weeks to prepare this game so the first years would like…
